HD6970 how many display can a single card support?

prety self explanitory, can the HD6970 supposr the 4 total displays (via its outputs) or is that through having multiple graphics cards attached?|||What port configuration is on your HD6970?

The most common configuration I've seen for the HD6970 is two DVI ports and two miniDisplayPorts. You can drive 4 monitors with an HD6970 with that configuration-- Two on DVI and two on miniDisplayPort.|||I have a Sapphire 6970, but the Sapphire 5870 Eyefinity 6, is the real graphic card to run multiple displays. See Sapphire Tech, sapphire home, on internet. see 5870 Eyefinity 6, they have Dirt 2 demo, with three monitors and you can switch it to normal ( Demo ), or Eyefinty mode ( Demo ). It can out put six displays with adapter. resolution output @ 6060 x 1200 with bezel compensation.|||I am not sure about the new 6970 but I have the dual gpu 5970 and that supports what is known as eyefinity, which is three displays in panoramic setup for gaming and that only requires the one card. I recommennd you check the details on the manufactures website.
